Η εξέλιξη της τεχνολογίας µε την ένταξη της ψηφιακής σάρωσης και της τρισδιάστατης εκτύπωσης µας προσφέρει πλέον τη δυνατότητα να σχεδιάζουµε και να εκτυπώνουµε χειρουργικούς νάρθηκες υπολογιστικά καθοδηγούμενης τοποθέτησης εµφυτευµάτων εντός ιατρείου µε µεγάλη ακρίβεια και πολύ µικρότερο κόστος σε σχέση µε το παρελθόν. Η χρήση τους όµως δεν περιορίζεται µόνο στην εµφυτευµατολογία αλλά σε όλο και περισσότερα πεδία της οδοντιατρικής όπως ψηφιακά διαγνωστικά κερώµατα, εκτύπωση εκµαγείων, mock up, µεταβατικές αποκαταστάσεις και ότι άλλο επιτρέπει η εξέλιξη των υλικών, των τεχνικών και της φαντασίας µας. Live digital workflow τοποθέτησης εµφυτευµάτων χρησιµοποιώντας το ενδοστοµατικό scanner Medit i500, live σχεδίαση του περιστατικού και του χειρουργικού οδηγού και ολοκλήρωση του περιστατικού µε κατασκευή εξατοµικευµένου healing abutment, τροποποίηση του σε κολόβωµα και κατασκευή άµεσης προσωρινής αποκατάστασης χρησιµοποιώντας το σύστηµα Cervico.
- Λήψη ορθών δεδοµένων (cbct & ψηφιακά αποτυπώµατα) Θα πραγµατοποιηθεί live ψηφιακή αποτύπωση µε τη χρήση ενδοστοµατικού scanner Medit i500.
- Live Σχεδιασµός περιστατικού το οποίο περιλαµβάνει σχεδιασµό τοποθέτησης άµεσου εµφυτεύµατος µετά από εξαγωγή.
- Live ψηφιακή σχεδίαση χειρουργικού οδηγού.
- Κατασκευή εξατοµικευµένου Cervico healing abutment µε βάση το ψηφιακό αποτύπωµα και τροποποίηση του σε κολόβωµα.
- Κατασκευή άµεσης προσωρινής αποκατάστασης µε ψηφιακή αποτύπωση του Cervico κολοβώµατος.
- Επίδειξη ψηφιακής τελικής αποτύπωσης.
Επίδειξη τελικής αναλογικής αποτύπωσης με κατασκευή εξατομικευμένου άξονα αποτύπωσης, χρησιμοποιώντας το Cervico Mold.

Peri-Implantitis: New Treatment Protocols to Save Implants
The use of dental implants for supporting prosthetic rehabilitations has shown highly satisfactory results regarding restoration of the patient’s function and esthetics, as well as in terms of long-term survival. However, dental implants can lose supportive bone, even in cases of successful osseointegration. Peri-implantitis is a site-specific infectious disease that causes an inflammatory process in soft tissues, and bone loss around an osseointegrated implant in function. The etiology of the implant infection is conditioned by the status of the tissue surrounding the implant, implant design, degree of roughness, external morphology, and excessive mechanical load. The microorganisms most commonly associated with implant failure are spirochetes and mobile forms of Gram-negative anaerobes, unless the origin is the result of simple mechanical overload. Diagnosis is based on changes of color in the gingiva, bleeding and probing depth of peri-implant pockets, suppuration, X-ray, and gradual loss of bone height around the implant. Treatment will differ depending upon whether it is a case of peri-implant mucositis or peri-implantitis. The management of implant infection should be focused on the control of infection, the detoxification of the implant surface, and regeneration of the alveolar bone. This lecture deals with the various treatment options in the management of peri-implantitis and presents the follow-up results of a new proved protocol for peri-implantitis treatment.
