Application Protocol:
Apply GELCIDE ESSENTIAL directly from the syringe to cleaned periodontal pockets after periodontal scaling.
The liquid penetrates perfectly into all crevices, sets in seconds, forming a membrane that adheres to the mucosa and periodontal pocket.
The formed membrane seals the affected area, preventing bacteria from entering and dissolves in approximately 12 to 25 days, allowing the sealed pocket to heal protected.
Day 1:
Due to its application in liquid form directly to the affected area, GELCIDE ESSENTIAL is ideal for preventing damage to the surrounding bone. Its unique composition allows it to penetrate quickly into the periodontal pocket, then taking on a gelatinous texture inside and forming a durable outer membrane on the surface that “seals” the wound.
Days 10-12:
GELCIDE ESSENTIAL’s patented composition is gradually released in effective concentrations for up to 25 days. The formed membrane is permeable but insoluble in liquids, thus protecting the periodontal pocket from irritation and infection.
Days 12-25:
After 25 days, the gel has completely dissolved and treatment is complete, eliminating the need for gel removal or further visits, with the pocket showing significant improvement.
